Hi!!yesterday we interviewed some people on the street for ask if they recycle.

Interwiew to Marcello

We are the nature friends; and yesterday two of us went to "Saveur de France" a bar near the school and we interwiewed Marcello who is the bar`s owner. He was very kind and friendly, we recorded his interwiew, he said that he usually recycles but he thinks that Oxford`s waste management isn`t very efficient.So,we understood that recycling is very important and we have to tell everybody :"WE SHOULD RECYCLING!!!!!".

A look to the redbridge centre........

Today, the nature friends group went to the redbridge recycling centre that it is a recycling centre where all kinds of waste is recycled. We went with Marcella.

Someone helped her to separate the waste and others took some photos. Then, we saw the management of the waste and we saw where waste is divided. There were a lot of conteiners where was separeted the waste.

We put cardboards and we saw the conteiners of them........... Marcella showed us some information anda some suggestions........We are working very hard...........because WE ARE CARING IN THE ENVIRONMENT!! Recycling is very important!!!!

We are the natural vision group.We are carrying out a project that concerns "Transport pollution" that is: what is transport pollution,what transport pollution makes, the situation of transport pollution in Palermo, air pollution,alternative number plates and the congestion charge.

An interview to the supermarket near the school....

We are nature friends group. Today, two of us have gone to the supermarket near the school. They interviewed a worker of the supermarket and asked some few question. They also recorded the interview. He said that "caring the environment" is very important because the rubbish goes to the landfills and so, it can be recycled and the environment could be saved.
So, we know the important of the environment, and also the caring of oxford's people. They are very interested in recycling. Meaby, we have to tell Italian people that it is important.
If we are caring in the environment, we can recycle.

Presentation of the groups

We are some students from a tecnical business school "Libero Grassi" in Palermo; we started a project about the environment at the beginning of the school year and now we are in Oxford because we want to make a comparison between the two .
This is the second day and we have been here and we are really excited because for most of us it is the first time in Great Britan.
We have formed three groups called:
-free life;
-nature friends;
-natural vision.
We are free life group and we are examinating about energy conservation. Now, here in Oxford, we are examining how the people here face this problem.
This experience is really interesting because we have the opportunity to talk to real English people: not only at home with our English family or at school with our teachers, but also in the streets because we have to inteview the people in the streets. We are really enjoying this city and we think that it is a very nice experince.
